Robert B. Hill Co. designs and manufactures industrial & commercial reverse osmosis systems water softeners iron filtration & many other types of equipments. Reverse osmosis systems are used in many applications such as municipal drinking water boiler feed water semiconductor manufacturing industrial manufacturing and food/beverage processes. Our deionizers fall into two different categories. The first category is exchange tanks. Exchange tanks are for customers that do not want to deal with the caustic and acid chemicals that are required to regenerate their DI tanks. The exchange tanks typically have a monitor light and let the customer know when their tanks need to be regenerated. Exchange tanks are typically for use in smaller applications that do not require a tremendous amount of water on a daily basis. They also are typically used on lower flow applications. The second category is a complete DI system. A complete DI system automatically regenerates based on water usage. The system pulls caustic and acid chemicals from chemical tanks located near the DI system. A complete DI system is used when higher flow rates are required and when a higher volume of water is needed on a daily basis.
